We provide a positive, competitive yet inclusive, player oriented atmosphere where players of all ages learn not only the skills and strategies of the game, but the importance of team work, sportsmanship, camaraderie and honor.
Thank you for entrusting your player to our program. Our coaches and volunteers invest hundreds of hours with your player, the team, and the organization. In order to achieve the best results on and off the field, we kindly ask the following:
Stay positive
Cheer on your player and support your team, but let the coaches coach
Do not conduct post game analysis in the car on the way home from practice or game
Remain on the parent sideline during games, except during Honor the Game
Volunteer for your player's team during the season (painting, scorekeeping, equipment)
Drop players off with enough time to gear up before practice/pregame starts
Remember this is not football or hockey - improper physical play can lead to penalties, injuries, or goals scored against
Pick up players promptly
Read all emails from your player's coach
Do not yell or scream at refs. Set a good example. If your comments are more than one breath or more than one sentence - it's too much.
Pay bills promptly
Many of these things are automatic for many families. We just want to be sure that everyone has clear expectations for their role in the game of lacrosse: parent, player, or coach.
Thanks in large part to your support, we'll have a great season.
